Tree Surgeon
We have created and sustained Ireland‘s most prestigious landscapes for over 40 years. Due to continued growth we are currently recruiting for a number of roles to expand our award- winning teams.
This role will involve the use of machinery and equipment and will include physical exertion (manual handling etc.) on a daily basis.
Location: Dublin & Kildare (and at various locations as dictated by business needs)

Position: Tree Surgeon
This job description outlines some of the duties and responsibilities that are associated with your role but it is by no means an exhaustive list and may be amended as the management of the company directs.

- Rate of Pay €16-€18 per hour (DOE)

Duties Include:
- Competent to undertake various light remedial tree pruning works
- Be competent in undertaking tree removal works
- Tree and shrub planting
- Repairing damaged trees
- standard and that the work completed is carried out in an efficient and timely manner
- Managing the safety of colleagues on site
- Ensuring the care and maintenance of plant and machinery whilst on site
Requirements:
- Valid Safe Pass is essential
- Provisional / Full Driving Licence
- Must be available for storm/emergency call-out works
- NPTC Level 2 Ground-based chainsaw operator
- NPTC Level 2 Tree climbing & rescue
- NPTC Level 3 Aerial cutting of trees with a chainsaw using free-fall techniques
- NPTC Level 2 Safe use of manually fed wood chipper
