Mechanic / Fitter

This role will involve the use of machinery and equipment and will include physical exertion (manual handling etc.) on a daily basis.
Location: Maynooth, Kildare
Reporting to: Workshop Manager
Position: Experienced Mechanical Fitter
Package:
- Hourly rate is €15 – €16 DOE
- Uniform Allowance
- Pension Facility (25% Employer Contribution)
- Training provided in the capacity of Manual Handling, Machinery Training and Health & Safety etc.
Requirements:
- Valid Safe Pass
- Provisional / Full Driving Licence
- B+E Licence Desired
- Previous experience in agricultural machinery is essential
Duties Include:
- Maintain service and repair Grass cutting, Construction plant and Salt spreading equipment.
- Repair and maintain road vehicles and trailers.
- Repair or recover breakdowns.
- Carryout scheduled onsite maintenance of site plant and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Adhering to the companies’ policies and procedures in relation to all aspects of Health & Safety.
Obeying clients site rules & regulations in general and in particular in relation to Health & Safety.
Follow instruction provided by management and your site Foreperson.
Work as part of a team to ensure the quality of work is delivered to an excellent standard and that the work completed is carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
Ensure work is of a high standard that is expected in SAP Landscapes.
