Position: Marketing Specialist

We are a hardworking and dynamic people business, ambitious for success, and building institutional resilience gained through continual internal improvement and innovation.  We have recently re-branded and developed a significant suite of modern marketing assets.  We are now seeking a part-time marketing specialist to help raise third party awareness in two primary areas: firstly, with a limited pool of targeted bullseye customers, and secondly, with a labour cohort to enable the identification and recruitment of potential high-performance employees.  SAP’s ambition is to become the exemplar in our industry, both in our service to customers and in attracting the best talent into our business.  We believe that an effective and proactive marketing strategy is essential in the realisation of this goal.

This is a part-time position with flexible working hours that can accommodate bespoke vacation requirements.  The successful candidate will be a key member of our strategic management team, exercise significant autonomy in their area of specialty, and make a significant impact on the company’s growth.  We see ourselves as a learning organisation and support further professional development where it is aligned with company strategy.  If you have a passion for marketing and want to work in a fast paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing plans to raise the profile of our landscape company with potential future employees and targeted customers.
  • Create and publish engaging content on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Implement a suite of events to raise the profile of SAP as an employer of choice, including interactions with academic institutions.
  • Create and manage email marketing campaigns to attract potential future employees.
  • Develop and maintain strong online presence for the company through various digital channels.
  • Collaborate with HR and the management team to ensure that all recruitment messaging is on-brand and aligned with company values.
  • Monitor and analyse social media and website analytics to measure the success of marketing campaigns.
  • Continuously research and implement best practices to improve the company’s marketing strategies.

 

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years experience in marketing, branding, or social media management.
  • A proven track record of specific marketing interventions that have delivered measurable and varifiable improvements.
  • Experience in creating and executing marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytical tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Full driving licence as visits to sites will be required.
  • Knowledge of the landscape industry is a plus.
